The Wildflower Invitational is just around the corner on August 27 and there are a few spaces available. We have glass trophies for each flight and many prizes; the Wildflower Golf Course has never been in such wonderful playing condition.

I just ran across this fst fact and had to share:
The world’s largest pelican stands at the base of the Mill Pond dam on the Pelican River, right in downtown Pelican Rapids, MN. The 15 1/2 feet tall concrete statue was built in 1957.

Friday is a little sad. The girls are already missing their new friends. But the kids carnival in the morning and beach day in the afternoon took the edge off. Really we just tried to soak up all of the sunshine we could.

The big event today was the night time talent show. We had two performers in our family. The three year got to spend the rest of the vacation known as the girls who sings Hannah Montana.
