Word from Nick Hovland

Many of you will know Nick Hovland from his time as sailing instructor (a few years ago) or more recently as the water ski instructor.

He was good enough to share his good news with us:

I just received an award at the 2009 Midwest Collegiate Sailing Association (MCSA) Midwinters Conference held in Chicago last month. I was awarded: 2009 MCSA All-District Co-Ed Skipper. I was selected based upon outstanding on-the-water performace by the MCSA’s All-DIstrict Sailor Committee. I was very excited and honored to be selected as one of the top sailors in the district.

I guess all those days teaching lessons on the resort’s Hobie fleet finally paid off! : )
